One of the best things about being creative is very rarely do you get bored! The challenge I have with all the hobbies and interests I have is actually finding time to do them all amongst the rush of life. I enjoy several activities – scrap-booking, cardmaking, crocheting, reading, baking & cooking, and blogging. From a technical standpoint I enjoy photography, editing images and creating “art” in Photoshop. I also enjoy designing logos and different posters or cards as needed. Besides my personal website, I manage my a blog for my aunt’s bakery and for my husband and I. Because of this I also enjoy dabbling with HTML and Word Press as well.
Part of the reason I enjoy do so many different things is because over time they change, allowing a great variety and opportunity to learn. I believe that the end result, having fun and trying new things, makes this journey we call life all the more worth while; whether you fail or succeed.
Originally from Wisconsin, I’m a true country girl at heart. After high school I attended Bethany Lutheran College, receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Visual Communication. I currently live in Chicago and work at a personalized gifts and stationery store in the Lakeview area. I love it so much because everyday I go to work but it doesn’t feel like work – just me doing different projects either making things for customers or working on web items.
Besides the above interests I’ve mentioned I enjoy spending time with my husband of 3 plus years, wine, traveling, cheese, sushi, Asian dishes and a wide variety of music.
